Taunton Racecourse receives a huge number of charitable requests throughout the year and is unfortunately unable to support every request received.

To help with the process of applying for prizes, the racecourse asks that you read through the following points below to establish whether you are eligible for a raffle prize in the form of complimentary tickets.
  • Taunton Racecourse is unable to offer sponsorship or monetary donations to individuals or groups
  • Taunton Racecourse is no longer able to donate prizes to individuals who are raising money on behalf of organisations or unregistered charities
  • Only requests made directly by registered charities or local schools will be considered. Please note that only one request per year will be granted.
  • Requests must be made by a letter posted to the racecourse. This letter must be written on headed paper, be  signed and include the charity’s registered number
  •  Due to the number of requests received, the racecourse can only donate to local causes within a 10-mile radius

 

Throughout the racing season, Taunton Racecourse will offer charities the opportunity to run an exit bucket collection. If you wish to be considered for this opportunity, please email [email protected] marking the email for the attention of Vicky Collard.

  • AGE UK (Taunton)
  • RNLI
  • St Michael’s Church Orchard Portman
  • Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
